<video:description><![CDATA[Introduction of new Lite Labor module within DELMIA Apriso 2025

As part of the DELMIA Apriso 2025 release, we are excited to unveil the Lite Labor Module—a streamlined solution designed to simplify labor tracking without the need to implement the full Labor module. This new functionality offers a lightweight alternative for capturing employee and resource labor data, making it ideal for organizations seeking flexibility and ease of deployment.

Installed separately via the GPM package, Lite Labor introduces a dedicated data model and a set of new business components and screens that operate independently from the existing Time and Labor module. While it includes the same core labor transactions—such as order, indirect, work center, and product—it does so through a simplified structure that omits the complex logic tied to scheduling, attendance, breaks, sign-off, approvals, and accruals.

Key features of the Lite Labor Module include:
🔵 Independent Data Model: A new labor table designed for simplicity, excluding columns related to advanced labor logic.
🔵 Business Components: A full set of components for creating, updating, and deleting labor records, with support for unit extensions like characteristics, notes, documents, and attachments.
🔵 Dual Compatibility: Lite Labor can be used alongside the Time and Labor module—even for the same employees—without conflict.
🔵 User-Friendly Screens: Two new screens inspired by the Time and Labor cockpit, including a supervisor view with tree control for managing direct reports.

While its out-of-the-box functionality is intentionally limited, the Lite Labor Module offers a clean, efficient, and scalable approach to labor tracking. It’s an ideal solution for teams looking to capture essential labor data with minimal configuration and maximum clarity.]]></video:description>

    <video:title><![CDATA[DELMIA Apriso 2025 - Database Upgrade Process]]></video:title>
<video:description><![CDATA[Upgrading to DELMIA Apriso 2025 involves a structured and reliable process designed to support the transition from legacy architectures to the new Operational and Solution Authoring database model. This upgrade ensures compatibility with the latest platform features while preserving the integrity of your existing solution.

To begin the upgrade, two separate copies of the existing Operational database must be prepared:
🔵 One copy will be upgraded to serve as the Operational database.
🔵 The second copy will be upgraded to become the Solution Authoring database.
🔵 Each upgrade must be performed independently, with the appropriate target database type specified during the process.

The upgrade can be initiated in two ways:
🔵 Automatically during the installation of DELMIA Apriso files.
🔵 Manually by launching the Database Upgrader from the Windows Start Menu, which opens the DELMIA Apriso Database Upgrader Wizard—a guided interface that walks users through each step of the upgrade.

Key features of the upgrade process include:
🔵 Automated Migration: The system handles most of the migration automatically, while also identifying areas that require manual review.
🔵 Customization Impact Detection: An optional step in the wizard helps assess how the new data model may affect existing customizations.
🔵 Post-Upgrade Validation: The Data Integrity Verifier, available in the Post Upgrade Utility, checks for inconsistencies between the Operational and Solution Authoring databases to ensure data alignment.

This dual-database upgrade approach is essential for leveraging the full capabilities of the DELMIA Apriso 2025 architecture, enabling a more modular, scalable, and maintainable solution landscape.]]></video:description>

<video:description><![CDATA[DELMIA Apriso 2025 Database is Divided Into the Solution Authoring and Operational databases

Improved upgrade process.
The most time-consuming and risky part of the upgrade process can be performed independently of production downtime. This allows enough time for validation before stopping production to perform necessary upgrade steps.

Decomposed data storage.
Data storage is split into two loosely coupled components, enabling more flexible and independent management across system areas. This approach enhances the DELMIA Apriso functionality, maintainability, and scalability to better meet current and future needs.

Improved test and training data recreation.
The operational data used for the testing and training purposes is stored in a separate database, allowing it to be easily restored and reused repeatedly. ]]></video:description>
